For the CT2001 thermostats – The thermostat must be set to a maximum heat of 70° and a minimum cool of 76°. The thermostat must also have the Partial Lock enabled and running on a 7 day schedule that is consistent with the EnergyStar recommendations found on page 64 of the manual.
For the CT100 thermostats – The thermostat must run on the default EnergyStar recommended temperature settings.
To file a claim, please email email@example.com. You will need to provide proof of purchase, purchase date, and 2 years worth of utility bills. We will process your refund once we receive the thermostat back with all the supporting documentation.
We accept returns up to 30 days from the date of purchase. The units must be returned in working order with the original manual, materials and packaging. There is a $20/unit restocking fee on returns that are sent back which are not deemed defective by our test facility.
How to Return a Unit:
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a refund and we will assign you a RMA number, send you a Return Packing Slip with an address to ship your return to.
Mail the unit, using USPS, UPS or FedEx, back to us. You are responsible for all return shipping charges.
Include in your package the Return Packing Slip with the reason for your return indicated along with the RMA number that was assigned to you.
Please allow 48 hours once the return is received for testing and processing of a check refund if applicable.
You are responsible for all shipping fees and insurance on returns.
Refunds will be processed within 48 hours of receiving the return.
1 Year Limited Warranty:
We offer a 1 Year limited warranty. If your unit stops working within 1 year of purchase, we will replace it free of charge. Warranty is void if the unit has been installed incorrectly or has been abused or broken outside of normal wear and tear. Please email email@example.com for warranty claims.
