Founded in 2008 by two partners who, after experiencing the frustrations of being property owners with skyrocketing utility bills, sought a better solution. After more than a year of research without finding an existing solution, they began to engineer and design their own product. Their first product was introduced in 2008. Over the years, we have grown to offer over eight products that help landlords, owners, employers, housing authorities, schools, and businesses lower their utility costs without sacrificing comfort. Today, ControlTemp Thermostats sells direct and through distribution channels to landlords, property managers, and others who are interested in controlling their utility bills. ControlTemp Thermostats has outsourced its product manufacturing process to a company in China and has the ability to produce over 100,000 units per year.
